  • The Lit Geek Strikes Again.

And a definite agreement on Ulysses. High on the list of least favorite novels read for the B.A. Joyce was better for me in short stories. The huge chapter in Ulysses without punctuation completely killed my enjoyment of the modernist exploration he’d been traveling. I did, however, enjoy Hemingway. There’s really no accounting for taste.

  • A Mid-Starwars Night’s Dream

Things that make one happy – geeking out + English Lit + Shakespeare     goodticklebrain: In case you’re late to the party, catch up on Episode One and Episode Two of the Rude Galacticals.   I have to say, when I was “casting” this production, I had no idea who Han should play until I…

  • Welcome to 2016!

Happy 2016, y’all! My goals include continuing to give myself a mental break – i.e., not riding myself so hard or ferociously when I have something that feels like/looks like/is a failure to me. In other areas, I’m planning on having my shoulder back to full strength this year, thanks to Fit and Bendy’s  Shoulder School…

  • 2015 Challenge is Knocking…

Ever feel like there’s just so much you want to do that you’ll never be able to accomplish it all? Yeah, I live in that world, but that’s largely because ideas keep coming to visit me, and pick at me until I get them to a state of realization. If you’ve followed my blog for…

Apologies for the distance – life’s been a bit hectic, and I’ve not had the time to set up the quote posts lately. I’m hoping to get back on the wagon and schedule those again regularly.  Several projects are currently in the works – the belly dance costume was finished, even though I was unable…

  • The standard issue…

Busybusybusybusy, so no quotes recently…. But! Projects are almost to a point where I should be able to be more actively blogging. If anyone’s got some extra time I could use, I’d appreciate it.
