It may be about that time, y’all…. I’ve been reinventing myself, on the basis of a milestone year, and reviewing some things on this site, well… Time for an overhaul. Let’s see if I can manage it reasonably quickly, aka less than a year. But yeah, the bio needs a rewrite like crazy.

I know, I know… there’s still 2 more weeks left in the year, but today’s the day I’m taking stock of things. Goals from January 2016: Front Splits – not quite there, but progress is still being made. I think I’ve figured out how to get the last 3″, so should be full touch down…

Getting ready to go into the standard holiday depression-y bit, with the visit to the family this coming weekend, so that’ll be fun on one level, but I’ll be missing the hell out of my Mom again.…

Ergh. Up in arms a bit this morning over an eBay purchase and return process that’s been going on since August. Terrible customer service all the way around, with not only the seller, but eBay and PayPal too. That’s okay, though. I’ve filed a chargeback with my bank, and submitted the tons of documentation that…

Another busy week. But now… we start adding a bass line. Bass lessons started for me today, and the instructor I’ve found seems to be fantastic. He translated a lot of the basics into piano terms, so I’m feeling quite a bit more aware/knowledgeable about them. Also, he gave some technique bits and pieces…

A late addition to the year…
I finally did it. Bit the bullet and signed up for bass guitar lessons. Time for me to actually start playing my guitars, rather than having them sitting and staring at me. I dropped into Open Chord Saturday, with the intention of just researching, but walked out with a lesson time of 5:30 on Saturday…
