So, if you’ve been following the blog, you’d know that I’m wrapping up Challenge 2012, and am starting Challenge 2013. To reiterate again, Challenge 2012 wraps up this Saturday, with Grinduation at the Well. I hope to see you all there, as Cyn Tervention makes her burlesque debut.
Challenge 2013 – aerial dance, started off this past Saturday with my very first aerial fitness class at Dragonfly Aerial Arts Studio. Even though I’m currently able to count all my ab, shoulder, and arm muscles, it was a fantastic experience, even if amazingly hard work, but looks like it will be fun and continue to reward. It was much fun to get to play with the apparati – silks and trapeze, on the first class, and I look forward to continuing to work on this challenge. Any of y’all who are interested in coming along, just let me know or check out the website for class times and prices. (As a side note, it also confirmed that I haven’t wasted my money on my other dance classes, as I have some serious delt, leg, and glute tone. Yay!)
Sewing-wise, my major project is currently waiting for a fitting opportunity with its owner, and an additional side project was accepted (and completed! YAY!) this weekend to help out one of my fellow graduates of the Burlesque Academy, Rudy Fuxtable. You can see her perform at Grinduation as well. Come, drink, enjoy pastie twirling!
Now, I have arnica to apply to some friction bruises, and some abs to stretch out. Hope to see you Saturday!
Always leave ’em wanting more!
~Cyn
