Happy 2013!

So, we’ve started off 2013 with one hell of a bang.  If you’ve been following along at home, the Salome Cabaret Burlesque Academy Grinduation is scheduled for January 26th, and I’m ready to roll for it.  Costume is completed, choreography’s done, and final workshopping will take place this week.  And so, I’ll be finishing up my challenge for 2012, and I’m so thrilled.

The 2013 Challenge started off this week, in a more administrative form than anticipated, but it works out well, as I don’t think my body would’ve been okay with yet another class after the excitement of this week.  I’m looking forward to the aerial classes, and now that I’ve located the schedule and worked out the kinks with building access, we should be good to go next week.  I’d love to see any of y’all that want to try it out come along as well!

The unanticipated challenge for 2013 will be yours truly serving as the Venue Vixen/Stage Kitten/Stage Manageress for The Follies Girls, who had their debut show this last Thursday night.  It was fabulous, and I hope you’ll all keep an eye out for future performances.  Photos from the shoot on January 5 shoudl be coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Other minor challenges include my working on cardio, which means once the studio schedule gets back into full swing this week, yours truly is anticipating taking 6 to 7 dance classes a week, between cardio and choreo.

Let the fun continue, and always leave them wanting more!
