  • Would you like me to seduce you?

This song’s been stuck in my internal jukebox for the last little bit – apparently, I’m firmly in the early 90s, but that’ll change soon, I’m sure. There’s just something about that era’s George Michael that’s running along in my brain pretty well – maybe it’s the self-revelation/discovery bit. Anyway, the points of contention for…

  • Finding that way…

I’m definitely noticing a change in my world in the first week of detox from Facebook. To be completely honest, my account is still active, but I’m not logging into it. Sure, I’m not getting everything as it happens, but not having so much static to wade through has been excellent for getting my brain…

  • Found a haystack…

For a little bit of fun to start a deep-for-me post. Doing a little bit of soul searching and prioritization on life elements. First thing to hit the road, Facebook. I’ve spent many years on Facebook and finally realized just how badly it was affecting me. As a side effect of the Facebook invasiveness, people…

  • And now a word from our sponsor

Hoping to come up for air soon – schedule is slightly crazy between training and events, although excellent progress is being made.  Still testing the new strategy for DaintyBitchSkin, which seems to be working a charm. Civilian work’s also become slightly crazy (read: omg the world’s exploding crazy). Go go Mercury Retrograde! Maybe Memorial Day?…

  • The Lit Geek Strikes Again.

And a definite agreement on Ulysses. High on the list of least favorite novels read for the B.A. Joyce was better for me in short stories. The huge chapter in Ulysses without punctuation completely killed my enjoyment of the modernist exploration he’d been traveling. I did, however, enjoy Hemingway. There’s really no accounting for taste.

  • A Mid-Starwars Night’s Dream

Things that make one happy – geeking out + English Lit + Shakespeare     goodticklebrain: In case you’re late to the party, catch up on Episode One and Episode Two of the Rude Galacticals.   I have to say, when I was “casting” this production, I had no idea who Han should play until I…

  • Welcome to 2016!

Happy 2016, y’all! My goals include continuing to give myself a mental break – i.e., not riding myself so hard or ferociously when I have something that feels like/looks like/is a failure to me. In other areas, I’m planning on having my shoulder back to full strength this year, thanks to Fit and Bendy’s  Shoulder School…

  • Gift Level: Easy

Holiday shopping is ridiculously easy when your sigoth has specifically requested you to buy him fun lingerie for you to wear for his gift. The Frederick’s of Hollywood website and I have just spent a pleasant hour together taking advantage of two sales to fulfill his wish list. So nice to have someone who fully…
